No. Your age is part of your starting point. It does not determine what you are capable of doing.
We assess where you are today and build from there.
We are not starting from the assumption that you failed.
Something did not work for you.
We want to understand what happened, what you are trying to accomplish now and what needs to be different this time.
If something we are doing is not working, we change it.
No. That would defeat the point.
We establish where you are today before deciding what the work should look like.
Then we get to work.
We need to understand what is happening before deciding how you should train.
If you have medical restrictions or guidance from a healthcare provider, those establish the boundaries we work within.
If what you describe is outside our role as a coach, we will tell you.
Then you had a bad week.
Training happens alongside the rest of your life. We work with where you are when you walk through the door and keep the larger goal in view.
One difficult week does not erase the work you have already done.
You are paying for coaching.
That includes assessment, individualized programming, coached sessions and reassessment.
You are not paying for access to equipment or a workout template.
We establish where you are, determine what the work should look like, coach you through it and adjust it as things change.
Private is one-on-one coaching.
Semi-Private is individualized coaching while training with another Praxis athlete, your spouse or another training partner.
Semi-Private does not mean everyone follows the same workout. Each athlete continues working from their own program.
The difference is how the coaching time is structured.
No. An exercise stays in the program because it has a purpose.
As your ability changes, we may change the load, equipment, range of motion, complexity or the exercise itself.
We do not change something simply because it has been there for a certain number of weeks.
We can talk about food and how it relates to what you are trying to accomplish.
Praxis does not prescribe diets or provide medical nutrition therapy.
If you need nutrition care outside our role, we can work alongside the appropriate nutrition professional.
The assessment establishes your starting point.
We look at strength, movement, balance, capacity and other measurements that help us understand where you are today.
We also talk about what you want to accomplish.
The assessment does not pass or fail you. It gives us information we can use to make coaching decisions.
We put the information together with your goals and determine what the work should look like.
Then we coach.
We continue to observe how you respond and reassess over time so the training can change as you change.
We reassess. Your initial assessment gives us a baseline. Reassessment lets us compare where you are now with where you started.
We also pay attention to what happens during training and what you are able to do outside the studio.
Not every meaningful change fits into a single number.
Yes, provided training is appropriate within the guidance you have been given.
Medical guidance establishes the boundaries of your training, and we adhere to them.
If exercise has been prescribed as part of your care or you are training under active medical orders or provider-established restrictions,
EverStrong may be the appropriate Praxis pathway.
Yes. With your authorization, reassessment results and relevant fitness session notes can be provided to your healthcare provider as part of an established referral reporting loop.
This gives your healthcare team objective information from the fitness setting while you continue training.
No. Tell us what you are trying to accomplish and where you are today.
We can figure out the appropriate starting point from there.
Then let's talk.
The Introductory Call exists for exactly that reason. You do not need to have everything figured out before contacting us.
