WE’RE MOVING! 9/7: 1270 Lincoln Ave #800, Pasadena.
A medical condition, recovery, or recommendation from a healthcare provider may change how you train. It does not have to change what you are working toward.
EverStrong is the medical-supportive pathway within Praxis Performance. Your goals still lead the process. Medical guidance establishes the boundaries of your training, and we adhere to them throughout the program.
We begin with an assessment to understand your current strength, movement, balance and capacity.
Your assessment gives us a baseline. Your goals give us direction. Medical recommendations or restrictions establish the boundaries we work within.
From there, we coach.
You may come to EverStrong because exercise has been prescribed as part of your care, you are transitioning from physical therapy, you are participating in medical weight management, or a health condition requires specific training boundaries.
That explains part of your starting point. It does not define your goal.
You may want to get stronger. Move more comfortably. Return to activities you have stopped doing. Improve your capacity for everyday life. Or have another goal entirely.
We build the work around what you are trying to accomplish.
EverStrong does not replace medical care, physical therapy, or treatment.
Your healthcare provider determines medical restrictions and recommendations. Praxis uses that information to make coaching decisions within those boundaries.
Exercises can change. Loads can change. Range of motion can change. The pace of progression can change.
The purpose of the work stays connected to your goal.
We select and progress exercises based on what you can do today and what you are working toward. As your ability changes, the training changes with it.
That may mean changing the exercise, equipment, resistance, range of motion, complexity, or the amount of time we spend developing something before moving forward.
Progress is not simply making an exercise harder.
That frequency gives us regular opportunities to practice, observe how you respond and adjust the work while staying within your medical guidance.
The frequency does not taper while you are in EverStrong. Your training progresses within the program while your three weekly coached sessions remain consistent.
Your first assessment establishes a baseline. It is not a permanent description of what you can do.
We reassess throughout your time in EverStrong to understand what has changed and how the training should respond.
Some changes show up in the measurements. Others show up in the work itself.
Both matter.
With your authorization, reassessment results and relevant fitness session notes can be provided to your healthcare provider as part of an established referral reporting loop. This gives your healthcare team ongoing objective information about your progress while you continue training within the guidance they have provided
There is no predetermined timeline.
If you are training under active medical orders or provider-established restrictions, EverStrong remains your Praxis coaching pathway.
Progress within EverStrong does not by itself mean you are ready to leave the program. Your training can continue to develop while we continue to follow the medical guidance in place.
If that guidance changes or those restrictions are removed, we can determine what comes next.
That may mean continuing with Praxis Performance through Private or Semi-Private coaching, training more independently, or another option appropriate to your goals.
Until then, we keep working within the boundaries established for you.
You do not need to know what exercises you should be doing or what your training should look like before we meet.
Bring your goals, where you are today and any medical guidance that applies to your training.
We can start there.
