Scope of Practice: Praxis Performance operates within the scope of professional fitness coaching and human performance. If an assessment or client presentation suggests a condition outside our scope of practice, coaching may be paused and the client referred to their physician or another qualified healthcare provider. With the client's written authorization, relevant assessment information may be shared to support continuity of care.

Praxis Performance believes recommendations should always be based on what is best for the client, not on financial incentives. Technology supports our work, but it never replaces professional judgment. 

• Referral Integrity: Praxis Performance does not pay or accept referral fees, commissions, kickbacks, or other financial incentives for referring clients to or receiving referrals from healthcare providers, businesses, or other professionals.
• Professional Independence: Recommendations are based on the client's goals, assessment findings, and scope of practice, not financial relationships.
• Technology & Human Oversight: Technology may be used to assist with documentation, recordkeeping, assessment reporting, scheduling, and administrative tasks. All information is reviewed by a qualified practitioner before it becomes part of a client's record or is shared with the client or another authorized party.

We believe pricing should be easy to understand. You'll know what you're paying for, what is included, and when something changes. No surprises. 

• Initial Commitment: Guided and Partnered Coaching begin with a 90 day initial commitment. Building strength, movement, and new habits takes time, and ninety days gives us a chance to measure meaningful progress.
• Preferred Rates: Some clients may qualify for preferred pricing through an approved partner program or with supporting documentation, such as a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).
• Assessment Credit: If you complete a paid Performance Assessment before enrolling, the assessment fee may be applied toward your first month of an eligible coaching program.
• Rate Changes: If pricing changes, we'll let you know at least 30 days before the new rate takes effect.
• Insurance: Praxis Performance does not bill insurance. If your HSA or FSA plan allows reimbursement, we can provide the documentation you may need.

We want you to feel confident in your decision to work with Praxis Performance. Our cancellation and refund policy follows California Health Studio Services Contract Law and is outlined in your Client Services Agreement. 

• 5 Day Right to Cancel: You may cancel your agreement within five (5) business days for a full refund, as provided by California law.
• Prorated Refunds: After the initial cancellation period, California law may allow a prorated refund for specific situations, including permanent disability or relocation beyond the distance defined by law.
• How to Request a Cancellation: Cancellation requests may be submitted through your client portal, by email, or by mail. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method in accordance with California law and your Client Services Agreement.

Praxis Performance is a performance coaching and education practice. We help people better understand how they move, build strength and capacity, and work toward their goals through coaching and performance assessments. 

• Operational Status: Praxis Performance Studio LLC is a Non-Covered Entity (NCE). Client information is protected under applicable federal and California privacy laws, including the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and the CCPA/CPRA.
• Medical Services: Our services are non medical. Praxis Performance does not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment, provide physical therapy, or replace licensed medical care.
• Privacy: We treat your personal and performance information with professionalism and care. Information is only shared as described in our Privacy Policy or with your written authorization.
